The look-and-feel will still be consistent with your mobile device’s operating system. For instance, a date selector will be the familiar scroller at the bottom of your app on an Apple device and the popup date selector on an Android device. 

An app consists of the code (design and programming) available to download from Google Play or the Apple App Store and backend system to allow you to be the administrator of the users and content.
